 Sports and Games : Table Tennis

Started Year- 1995
First instructor- Mr.H.M.Upul Gunathilaka
Present Instructor- Mr.S.K.Godigamuwa


First couches, Mr.Eshantha Ariyadasa and Mr.Chandana Herath donated a table tennis table to school. Though it started without many facilities, it advanced in short period.


Works and Victories


  • In1996 Maliyadeva College table tennis team selected as a best team in Northwestern Province.

  • In 1997 our student Amila Ariyawansa was participate tour in India with Sri Lankan Table tennis team. Then we got below victories,

    - Under18 D class 1st place
    - Under14 D class 1st place
    - Under10 D class 1st place


  • In 1998 also our team got many victories of table tennis competitions.

  • In 1999 student Shanuka Bandara awarded as the best player of under 9 table tennis.
