Works and Victories

In 1992 Maliyadeva chess team won 2nd place from North Western province.

In 1996 placed 3rd place in central province chess competition.

In 1996 our under15 and under 19 team won the championship of north western province organized by Maliyadeva College.

In 1997 our under15 chess team was the chess champion in all Island chess championship organized by Sri Lanka Chess Association.

Maliyadeva College organized an all Island chess competition for commemorate 110th year of school.

In 1999, our under 15 chess team awarded 2nd place in all Island chess competition organized by St Anns College.

In 2000 Maliyadeva College under19 team and under 13 team won 3rd & 2nd place in national school chess competition.
